Treasure Park Tolgus TinThis is an odd place. Originally a tin mill, the site now houses a collection of unconnected "attractions".
There's a huge jewellery store with a De Lorean in the entrance way and James Bond's Aston Martin in the cafe.
Another building houses the Tolgus Tin Mill museum (but
Blue Hills Tin
still does it for real) and a moderately good 3D cinema "ride".
There's gold panning, but it's tap water running through a trough and the gold comes from the jewellery shop: it's not proper gold panning as at the Dolaucothi Gold Mine. There's a place selling teddy bears and another selling pearls. You might find something to interest you, and entrance to the site is free. But the place has no soul. |map| |nearby attraction| |
