Salisbury Museum
Salisbury Museum takes you from the geological formation of the British Isles through its settlement
by early man and the construction of Stonehenge. This is a proper museum with glass cases displaying artefacts
from just about every period of man's habitation of the area.
Another section tells the history of Salisbury from earliest times to the present day, and upstairs you will find displays of fine ceramics, glass, costumes and lace. And three Turner watercolours of Salisbury cathedral. |map| |next attraction|
