Art! If you love paintings you'll be in heaven at Petworth House: the collection is magnificent.
Fine statues too - some from antiquity. Don't be put off by the rather drab facade that you see as you approach
from the car park - it belies a wonderful interior.
The kitchens give a great insight into the servants' lives. Actually not a bad life at all for the times. The park is huge: you can walk for miles and there are plenty of places for picnics. |map| |next attraction|
