HMS WarriorBuilt in 1861, HMS Warrior was the first iron-hulled warship and in its day was something of a super-weapon.
Nobody had anything to touch it so nobody tried and consequently HMS Warrior never saw action.
So whereas HMS Victory & co whacked the Franch at Trafalgar, HMS Warrior simply scared them off. The ship is less warren-like than the 100-years-older Victory and there's room to stand upright on all the decks. The steam cylinders down in the engine room are simply huge. |map| |next attraction|
