Hartland QuayIt feels like it's a long way to Hartland Quay and when you get there there's not much there:
not even a quay - that was washed away in 1887.
What you do get is miles of uncluttered cliff-top walks. This is a real get away from it all place.
There is a small hotel, bar and museum down at sea level. On the way to Hartland Quay, just when you think you're in the middle of nowhere, you'll come across the huge St Nectan's church, so large it looks quite out of place. Nearby Hartland Abbey is worth a visit. |map| |next attraction| |
