Goonhilly
Goonhilly is about as far south as you can go without falling off the edge, so was originally a good place to locate
transatlantic communications.
The visitor centre and bus tour of the site used to attract large numbers of visitors but with many of the dishes dismantled and much of the work moved to Herefordshire visitor numbers declined and in 2010 BT announced the visitor centre would be closed for the forseeable future. |map| |next attraction|
