Caen Hill Locks Devizes

If you park in the sign-posted car park and walk through to the locks it doesn't look too far to walk top to bottom. However, you can't see anything like all of the locks from here and it'll take you at least an hour and a half to walk up and down the whole flight. |more days out| 

There are 16 locks on Caen Hill itself - these are the ones you'll see in all the pictures - but others above and below: 29 in all. The canal museum in Devizes will fascinate anyone with an interest in the engineering and construction of these locks and in canals in general. |map| |next attraction|
