Bosworth FieldHenry Tudor triumphed over Richard III on 22 August 1485 at the Battle of Bosworth Field,
ending the Wars of the Roses and ushering in the Tudor age. Over 500 years later Richard III
still has admirers - hence the monument.
You can walk the battlefield, be entertained and informed in the Visitor Centre, eat in the magnificent Tithe Barn and enjoy the parkland and canal-side walks. A replica Medieval village, Ambion Parva, is under construction and there are regular events on site. |map| |next| Bosworth Battlefield Website Battle of Bosworth Richard III Society |
