Then the power of the water was harnessed for copper making, and later for tin.
World-leading tin plating technology was developed here.
Now the water wheel generates electricity.
Little remains of the tin works other than building foundations, but the exhibition and film are interesting as is the turbine house - this is the largest electricity-generating waterwheel in Europe. The falls are quite a sight when it's been raining. |map| |next attraction|
